Who we are
A new company, a business since 1997
Beweldo Oy is the welding-ring business of the Bellapipe group: we develop and manufacture the IP-PLUS® welding rings and the related welding systems. Production and product development are located in Karstula, Central Finland.
As a company, Beweldo is young. It was established in 2024, when the welding-ring business was transferred out of Bellapipe Oy into a company of its own. The business itself is not new: Bellapipe was founded in 1997, and welding rings have been delivered to the German market for more than ten years. Product development, manufacturing and customer relationships transferred to Beweldo as they stood.
Our parent company Bellapipe Oy specialises in injection-moulded products and welding solutions for large municipal pipe systems. The group employs close to thirty professionals.
Our vision is to be the leading European provider of welded connection technologies and pipe system concepts for building sustainable infrastructure.

Over ten years on the German market
Welding rings have been delivered to Germany for more than ten years. Germany is the most demanding market there is for a welded pipe joint: the AwSV ordinance sets Europe's strictest requirements for pipe joints. The IP-PLUS system holds a DIBt approval, and our associate Sabug GmbH, which is responsible for the German market, holds its own approval for the system. That is a precondition for operating in Germany.
Ostendorf, the German market leader in plastic indoor and underground sewers, uses IP-PLUS welding rings for the welded joints of its KG2000 pipe system. Sales and engineering in continental Europe are handled by Sabug GmbH.
In Finland the rings are manufactured in Karstula and the joints have been tested at VTT.
